My favorite teacher By Dave Mcintosh I grew up working for my dad and in many ways he was my greatest teacher. I have said many times he taught me all I know. Now that may not be totally true as I have had my own business in renovations for over 28 years but he certainly taught me the base principals of carpentry and renovation work. He also taught me how to complete a job well and have a satisfied customers. He still help people by fixing chairs and putting on trim. On his 80th birthday now 6 years ago we gave him a golden hammer award. I had the type of hammer he has always used gold plated and put on a plaque which he proudly has hanging on his wall.
